Without the squish of a back shock I can easily take the Breezer thunder up on the three foot high one foot wide wall we have behind the shop and yes stay on up until that sign, and even more impressive I can do it in flip-flops. The front shock makes it nice coming off it and the hard tail lets me ride away with little effort. What my favorite part of this bike is, and I know this is silly because it’s a mountain bike, the way it looks. No one really gives a darn about how their mountain bike looks because after the first ride (if you ride like we do) the bike has been bounced of more than a few rocks. With that said the breezer has the sexiest red and white combo, with black lettering, that I have ever seen and it shows everyone else on the trail who the boss is.

Oh my goodness Dorothy. Over the top. Every time I take the C3 out I get the uncanny feeling that it has some hidden motor. It is just plan fast, fast, fast. And to make matters worse (and I don’t know how Litespeed does this) it is way comfortable. Take my advice don’t ever ride one if you don’t intend to own it because you will be spoiled forever.

There is no question that carbon is just better. Yea it’s a little more cake but what you get with the M1 is a great ride. It will take your precious watts and transfer them into forward motion.

So Carol teaches freshmen English at Gordon. She thinks the students are great, and teaching is fun but what she really digs is the commute though Chebacco Woods on her super comfy Crosstown. It rides great on the pavement but is equally at home on those beautiful gravel trails down by round pond. It even has a bell. Ding!

Roubaix ACR 2.0

The Ruby ACR is one of my favorite bikes. It is a wicked cool mix of ally and carbon. So it’s got carbon seat stays and forks which is great because carbon in has the nifty ability to dampen road vibration and because it’s real stiff it transfers all the quad energy to the pavement. Smoooth and fast. yes.
